I'm an artist from the San Gabriel Valley, my work encompasses my experience with mesoamerican art, history and culture. My inspiration comes from work in the chicano art movement and that of the Mexican muralist movement.
Chalavie is a French artist who has been based in California for the past two decades. She recently relocated her art studio to Hawthorne, CA where he passionately practices her craft.
Chalavie's artistic talents extend beyond painting; she also enjoys constructing and creating art using various materials.

When it comes to my work I like to record things that aren't necessarily what we want to look at. I am currently trying to make a series of work that encapsulates that but also serve as a sort of reflection on ideas or feelings we each have as people. Recently I am moving towards broadening the mediums I use and exploring and developing a personal style for he future.
My work is mostly small scale collectible sculptures that are hand painted. They are influenced by Punk rock aesthetics and Post-Apocalyptic movies with a bit of Medival Fantasy in the mix.
